Where
I have a comfortable, quiet room, available for Counselling Sessions in the centre of Cardiff. There is Pay and Display parking available. It is also close to public transport links.
First Session
The first introductory session will be about assessing your needs, and ensuring that we are comfortable working together. This session is an opportunity for us to meet and discuss your concerns, and what you wish to gain from your counselling sessions.
Having an agreed contract of work can help to minimise the number of sessions by keeping them focussed.
I want to ensure that your sessions are effective and that you are able to accomplish what you initially set out to achieve. At the end of the first session you should have more of an idea what counselling is, what it can do for you, and how I work as a practitioner. Hopefully, at this point we will have a good idea of how many sessions you would like, and whether you are happy to continue your counselling with me.
There is no obligation to continue to attend sessions with me, you are not committed to a set number of sessions, if you wish to stop at any time that is completely your decision.
